SydaMED stores all data for a practice (including patients, providers, insurance companies, fee schedules, claims, etc.) as a single unified database. This feature allows you to easily back up the full database onto your hard drive or another drive to prevent irreplaceable data loss in the event of a crash or computer virus corruption. You can then easily restore the database, as needed. If you have several databases, SydaMED allows you to backup all in one single step saving you great deal of time!
